Happy SONday!

Gosh, all week I have been sick with what I think to be the flu.  Headache, sore throat, fever.  It was awful.  This was the first week I think I have ever called in sick to work.  It was really hard to stay away because I’m the only one in the office and I have so much to do all the time.  My MIL ended up helping me so that was nice.

Talked to Zach last night.  He’s been camping in the Colorado mountains on his days off and working 12 hour shifts in the ER at a hospital there quite a few days a week.  He’s loving it and even got to put in his first chest tube last week.  I can tell he’s missing home a lot.  But that’s what comes with being in the military.  Hopefully he’ll be home in December for a visit.  We hope so.

The HOT weather has returned once again and will be lingering here this week.  I am so done with the hot weather although we haven’t had as near as many days as my mom in Texas has.  I guess I shouldn’t complain, but we don’t have air conditioning here.  Makes me miss my old house where I could turn it on if I wanted to.  Some how, some way, I’m going to get air in this house if it’s the last thing I do.

I was going to head off to church this morning, but my nasty ole sore throat came back and I’m coughing and feel awful.  I don’t want to be coughing every time I turn around in church.  Thank goodness for my T.V. preachers that I get a good sermon when I need.

I think Rich is at work.  He’s been working so much and I miss him a lot.  He was on the Campo fire last week and thankfully did not lose his life, but the story he told me, he certainly could have for sure.  Scary sometimes.  People, their job is so dangerous.  What  a HERO in my book.  Love you babe!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hey girl! It’s great to see a post from you. Sorry you were feeling rough again this morning. Have a glass of wine–that should make you feel MUCH better 😉 Love ya! <3

Hi Kacy, I took a chance to see if you posted and you had. Tag me when you post so I can come and visit. I think this is the hottest summer we have had in years. It was hot in LB when Tammy came and humid too. I am glad to hear things are working out for your son Zach. Sorry you have been sick which is worse in this heat. Glad you stayed home to get better. Well praying you will soon. Hugs
