Long time…

I know it’s been a while since I updated.  I seem to have gotten so caught up with the facebook  and twitter bug.  I know it’s not as personal and “deep,” but it makes it much easier to keep up with your friends on a daily basis without having to find everyone’s blog URL.  Don’t get me wrong,  I love visiting each other’s pages, but I seem to have so many time constraints!  So I am no longer going to feel guilty about noto updating here.  I will when I feel led and well, today is one of those days.

I wanted to update a little about my heart.  The electrophysiologist will be putting me on a heart monitor starting Monday.  I’ll probably wear it two weeks and hopefully will gather enough data in order for me to have surgery. Yes, another heart surgery.  This time, they want to go into the left side of the heart which is definitely more risky.  How do I feel about this?  Actually I feel good about it.  I just want to live life without medication and get back to my old self of working out, being active, etc.  I know God is in control and He only has my best interest at hand.

As for my ankle?  Well, I’m walking beautifully!  I still have a screw (one of 8) that needs to be taken out in order for my mobility to be enhanced!  It seems to keep me from bending my ankle like I want.

School has started and my class is full again!  Each year God seems to bring me 24 new little hearts to speak into and I get goosebumps just thinking of the Job He has entrusted me.  I’m looking forward to a great school year.  Especially now that my daughter isn’t in my class *grin*  That was tough last year.  Now she has someone else to be accountable to and I think it will make for a smoother relationship with us.

Hope all is well with everyone, I’ll be by to visit everyone as soon as I can!

Blessings!

I’ll definitely be praying for that heart of yours Kacy… which is beautiful btw! When do you get the screw out of your ankle? I had to giggle thinking of you “with a screw loose” lol

I bet it was hard having Liv in your class… kind of a conflict of interest in a way huh? Hard to be impartial when you love her so much. I’m sure you were great though and phew… you both survived! lol

    Love ya Kac xo

Hi Kacy, I know what you mean about blogging. Now with two grandbabies, I am more busier and I want to treasure the time I have with them. FB is my outlet with the farms and Eddie loves the animals. I hope they can take care of your heart. Where will your surgery be? Have a great schoolyear! Hugs

Hi sweetie! Keep up updated on your heart stuff. April wore a monitor this past late winter for two weeks and overall it wasn’t too bad, but she hated the adhesive electrodes and sometimes the thing would beep and wake her up. Hope it all goes well for you and that they can do something for you. Love ya! xo

Hi Kacy! Thanks for visiting and letting me know you posted. I can understand how FB is a great alternative when you have time constraints. 🙂 I hope you will be able to get the surgery you need and that it’ll allow you to have the active lifestyle you’d like! Hope you have a great school year! (((Hugz)))

HI Kacy tell me what is wrong…..I’ve wanted to know for a long time, but I always seem to miss the posts where you talk about it. I don’t have your email address I don’t think?
I’m worried about you. You know I’ve worn the heart monitor and had a lot of tests, but in the end, nothing is wrong with my heart other then anxiety. I get flip flops and run away heart, or also panic attacks. I know just seem to sit down and put my head between my legs and go with it. It’s scary though. I pray for your health Kacy. God Bless
