Well, I landed myself in the hospital. Friday night I wasn’t feeling good when I went to Bible Study Group. I managed to make it through that and was ok later in the evening. Then Saturday morning at 6am, my SVT’s ended up starting AGAIN by waking me up. I am usually one to troop through it and ride it out. Well, by 1:00 I was getting worse. I didn’t want to go to the ER and then have them tell me they can’t get an EKG reading, so I thought I’d stay home and see. By 5, I was fine and was able to eat dinner. By 7, I was not fine again and by 8 I was in the hospital.
I am still here as of Monday. The plan of action is go ahead and have surgery again. This is why they are keeping me. My doctor said I have to have this taken care of. At one point my heart rate was over 200 bpm. Very scary! 😯
Thank you all for your prayers and emails. I am only able to view them right now and not respond. Something about the firewall at the hospital. Rich was nice enough to bring me my laptop to the hospital so I could somewhat stay a little connected to everyone.
I am on medication, being monitored 24/7 and honestly, the food :fry: isn’t that bad. I will post more as I find out more about when this surgery will take place.
Love you all!
UPDATE: 9pm PST
Surgery is scheduled for tomorrow morning at 7am. I am so relieved and I have a wonderful surgeon and team. :stretcher: The doctor said he will take as long as he can to make sure he finds the source of these episodes. PRAISE GOD!!! \o/ Only a few really good friends know what I was going through day to day. The uncertainty of how my day would pan out, the heart going haywire whenever it wanted. And now, there’s complete hope he’ll be able to fix me! YIPPEE! :dance10: I will probably be in recovery all day :sleep3: and will update when I can. Thank you so much for all of you that have already emailed me promising to pray! Love you all!
